Ah yes comics, I haven't read them for a long time since an app I'm used to use was dead, sad react only.
So, let's talk about Pepper & Carrot. First of all, the art style is really appealing to me, neither to say that each episode is not too long to read for a short time break.
The plot though, is kinda obvious tbh, which I mean is that it's really easy to guess what will happen next. Plus, it's too cliche for me. I know the greatness of friendship, hardworking, etc. But there are tons of comics and manga talking about these thing.
BUT, I know there have already a lot of "but" but bear with we, I do like the flow and the theme each episode has, at least from what I've read. For example, the first episode, it's really cute and funny. Another example is episode 13 "pyjama party", very cute and interesting. In this episode, there are two other characters that are Pepper's friends, which is the reason I enjoy comics so much. It's always a enjoyment seeing vivid and diverse characters that author created, really wholesome and nice work.

An English Song that I Like
Avicii - The Nights

Music Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UtF6Jej8yb4
Lyric Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=84Kpm5MljY0
Lyric: https://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/avicii/thenights.html
The Nights was first released on Avicii's "The Days/Nights" EP in 2014 and appeared on Avicii's album "Stories" in the next year.
Tim Bergling, also known as Avicii, was born in 1989, Stockholm, Sweden, and committed suicide in 2018, at the age of 28.
Avicii was one of the most well-known music programmers, DJs, and record producers.
A few days ago, 4/20, was the day that Tim committed suicide, and I think this song probably is one of the best songs by Tim.
Vocabulary -
Fade: To lose color, brightness, or strength gradually
My memory of childhood fades as time goes by.
Forsake: To leave or give up completely
The angels in Heaven have not forsaken you.
Carve: To make something by cutting into
He carved the wood to resemble a small bird.
My thought on "The Nights" - This song is one of my favorites from Avicii, not only the rhythm is catchy, but the lyric is very inspirational. Although Tim has already left this world behind, I believe he had lived a life that he and everybody will remember.

Title : What "Orwellian" really means
Speaker : Noah Tavlin
Duration : 5:31
Link : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oe64p-QzhNE
Vocabulary & Phrases :
1. Orwellian -
Used to describe a political system in which the government tries to control every part of people's lives, similar to that described in the novel "Nineteen Eighty Four", by George Orwell.
We don't want to see a 1984 Orwellian type situation where neighbours are reporting on neighbours.
2. Depict -
To represent or show something in a picture or story
In the film, he is able to depict the sense of otherness and alienation that many teenagers feel.
3.Tyranny -
Government by a ruler or small group of people who have unlimited power over the people in their country or state and use it unfairly and cruelly:
One of the most dangerous of all tyrannies is to prevent a person from leaving a country to work and live abroad
My thoughts upon this TED Talk :
Well first this Talk is not like a speech, it's like a brief explanation on the word "Orwellian".
From Orwell's work, Orwellian usually stand for Authoritarian. But what it truly means is deceptive and manipulative use of languages. In nowadays modern society, social media and news are the resources that most people receive information. But we all need to pay attention on what words and phrases the article use and being careful when using words so that conflicts between people or even nations will be reduce.

Self Intro.
Hello there, did not notice you're here. Let me introduce myself real quick, is it ok with you? Good!
So, I'm 張其凱, or you can call me Bebe. The name originated from a well-known Taiwanese retired League of legned player, if you've played LoL once and watched some e-sport events back when he was still in, you must be familiar with him.
Since I didn't want to sound like a normie who called himself Mike or Jason, I called myself Bebe, but soon I found out that this name was not for a boy, welp I guess I kinda stuck with it.
Anyways, I've majored in the department of applied foreign languages for like 7 years since high school when I studied in shilin high school of commerce. And it's an one hell of journey too.
I've lived with my parents in Keelung since i was borned and I started my commuting life since high school.
I love listening music, Jpop and western EDM are my favorite, especially House and Hardstyle. My favorite artists are Kenshi Yonezu(米津玄師) and Aimer recently. If you are also a big fan of them, great then atleast we share something in common!
And that's me, a poor university student struggling irl. How about you? Feel free to introduce you in the comment section!
